Company Overview: Our client is a leading multinational company based in Dubai, committed to maintaining high standards of financial integrity and operational excellence. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Finance Auditor to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary: The Finance Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial audits across various departments to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and a proven track record in audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Planning: Develop and execute audit plans, including identifying key areas of risk and ensuring all audit objectives are met.
- Financial Analysis: Perform detailed financial analysis to assess the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all financial operations are compliant with local laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Internal Controls: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and recommendations for senior management.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess areas of potential financial risk and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in finance auditing practices and ensure continuous improvement of audit processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance auditing, preferably within a multinational organization or a reputed audit firm.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in auditing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards. Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and tax laws is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ethics and Integrity: High level of integrity and professionalism with a commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
